For the next week, when you find yourself about to purchase something, ask yourself these three deliberate questions: Is my life currently functioning without this object, and if so, can it continue to? Who might have made this product and how was their labor compensated? Is there a way that I can borrow/share this product with neighbors and friends, instead of buying my own?
